32 Make your bedroom your sanctuary Experts say that our bed should be for sleeping and sex only. Keeping the bed as a work- and life-stress-free zone will help your body and mind to identify it as a place of rest, relaxation, enjoyment and, ultimately, sleep. To achieve this, it is a good idea to free your room of computers and televisions – anything that will make you tempted to watch some late-night videos – and make your bedroom tidy and inviting; a safe, cocoon-like environment.
